Gypset Travel ~ Kismet Tulum

On my trip to Tulum, Mexico I was taking a ride in the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve and I happened upon this charming eco-resort with a distinctive gypset vibe called  Kismet Tulum. We decided to stop and have a drink and check it out. This sustainable resort is home to five lovely cabanas where you can lull your days away feeling like you are in your own private jungle far away from the hustle and bustle of home. Your choices are the Garden 1 Cabana ($200 USD/night and $250 during the holiday period) or Garden 2 cabana ($250 USD/night and $300 during the holiday period). Each of the garden cabanas have one king-size bed and can sleep two.

The Beach Cabana has two double beds and has a 3 person maximum. The Beach Master has 1 king-size bed and sleeps 2. All room rates include your choice of tea or coffee, fruit juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola. On site, you will also find a great bar and restaurant, serving local dishes, organic and locally  sourced whenever possible. Grab a Pacifica and enjoy the view in this perfect gypset travel destination.

I especially loved the fact that the cabanas and other buildings at Kismet Tulum blend beautifully into their natural surroundings. An added bonus to this beautiful place to stay is its access to a gorgeous, secluded beach where you can kayak, ride in a glass bottom boat ride, or snorkel to your heart’s content.

If you go at the right time of year (June/July), you can also view turtles nesting and their eggs hatching! There are many different species of turtles that choose to nest at the Kismet beach including Loggerhead, Green, Hawksbill, and Leatherback. If you are a budding astrologer, you will also find the Kismet Tulum to be a superior place for watching the stars, comets, and meteor showers.
