Morgan’s Rock is known for its eco-friendly practices. Some of the dishes that are served at this resort are organically grown and raised at their Hacienda– including their fruits, dairy, poultry, and meats. The ecolodge’s seafood is harvested from the nearby Pacific Ocean. Its location aligns with their environmentally friendly values, as the resort is located on a farm with 1,000 hectares of hardwood trees and 800 hectares of natural reserve approved by the Nicaragua government and the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources.

One of the best features of the property for the Gypsetter is without a doubt its bungalows and surrounding beach. Designed with sustainability and relaxation in mind, each bungalow has an ocean view and hanging bed (in Nicaraguan luxury style) built and furnished by Simplemente Madera. The bed has a minimalistic design that will make you feel more at one with nature. Expect the walls of your room to be constructed of sustainably harvested wood and hand-crafted stone. The beach, clearly visible from every bungalow, is specifically designed to bring guests an overpowering feeling of peace and tranquility.

There are many activities to try at Morgan’s Rock including surfing, horseback riding, and of course sunbathing. The hotel also offers a unique activity referred to as the Magic of Reforestation. This activity gives guests the opportunity to plant a tree on the beautiful Nicaraguan farm, thereby giving back to mother nature– a gesture of gratitude for this truly spectacular place.
