Gypset Lifestyle ~ Ringing in the New Year at Cloud 9 and Casa Tua!

I am so excited I got to usher in the new year in true gypset style, in Aspen with my amazing friends starting with lunch at Cloud 9, a fabulous Aspen Highlands restaurant located on the mountain. Cloud 9 embraces the rustic European inn atmosphere, along with a panoramic view of the Maroon Bells mountain range. The establishment gets its name from its location at the top of the Cloud 9 lift—you can dine at 10,740 feet!

If you would like to arrive in style, you can head to the restaurant on a Thursday evening via snowcat. The menu at Cloud 9 features fondue and raclette, game meats, and other European style dishes. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and also features a delectable menu of cocktails and wine. Don’t forget to try the strudel for dessert!

Later on in the evening, we headed to Casa Tua for dinner. Casa Tua is a unique eatery that pairs fine cuisine with fine art. There is also a private club at the location, which provides members with access to special art exhibitions, fashion shows, and other member exclusives.

The menu at Casa Tua features Northern Italian cuisine and wine. Bring a large group and share a meal at their 24-seat Friends Table. While dining, you will enjoy the décor by renowned designer Michele Bonan and Aspen-based RGS Architecture. The food was fantastic, and it was definitely a New Year’s Eve to remember!
