I came across these Etnia Barcelona sunnies when I was traveling in Europe last month, and I fell in love! š As their company name suggests, these glasses hail from Barcelona. They are the perfect embodiment of the Barcelona culture and are self-described as: “art, colour, light, it is Barcelona. It is culture, quality, and it is our people who make this possible, and Mediterranean culture that infuses everything, from the first sketch to the final product.”

The sunglasses come in beautiful, vibrant colors (both the frames and the lenses!). The lenses are carefully made by the Italia company Barberini SpA. All of the Etnia Barcelona lenses are made from toughened natural crystals, which provide much better vision than many plasticĀ lenses.
Etnia Barcelona has worked on several collections with artists and photographers like Nobuyoshi Araki (Tokyo-Paris Collection), Yves Klein (International Klein Blue Collection), and Steve McCurry (Wild Love in Africa Collection- my favorite!).
